Ladders On A Car For Window Cleaning

I use a car for my window cleaning work vehicle and I get so many looks just for the mere fact that I’m a car with big ladders on it. It is not something people are used to seeing. Not to mention that I have a duck on both sides holding a squeegee. This combination is a head turner, people see the car then the duck and read my window cleaning business info. I see other window washers with trucks and vans and people don’t even notice them most of the time. Trucks and vans with ladders and logos are a dime a dozen so people don’t really pay much attention to them, unless they have an amazing car wrap with their window cleaning logo.

Nevertheless as great as the head turning ladder car is, I think a van is the most professional of them all and offers the best space for gear and window cleaning advertising. Having the right gear and the space to put it in, is the most important, especially if you want to offer more services over time. I also feel that the customers will see you in a more professional light with a window cleaning van or truck as opposed to a car, yet the car still works if that’s all you have and are not ready to buy a new company vehicle, after all the object of going into a window cleaning business is to make money not spend it.

In the end you will have to use what you have available if you can’t afford a new one. Do whatever you can to make your vehicle look professional. Your window cleaning vehicle will say more about your San Diego window cleaning company to a customer than you might think, even if it’s not true. If your vehicle looks nice and new with great advertising then they are going to think that you are a very professional and successful window cleaning company. If you have a dumpy looking vehicle with dents, rust, broken glass and a fading paint job then they might assume that you are barely staying in business, which must be because you are not very good at what you do or that you are not a professional Escondido window cleaning business.

Be sure to wash your vehicle regularly and make the windows look amazing. After all you are a window cleaner and if your own windows don’t look great what will that tell people driving around you, your customers and their neighbors?
